About Me

Hi, I’m Mary Linker, a sports and portrait photographer based in Arlington Heights and Monmouth, IL

I started attending Monmouth College this fall and am a Communications and Marketing double major with a focus in sports media. During high school, I was the photography director in multimedia, the yearbook editor-in-chief, and I interned for over 200+ hours in media.

On top of that, I am also a Division 3 softball player, which completely shapes how I shoot. I understand the pace of the game, the key moments, and what athletes actually want to see in their photos because I’ve been in those same situations myself.

For me, photography started as a way to help my friends who couldn’t afford it get photos of themselves and grew into a passion for capturing all the meaningful moments in life.
